Kakheti is Georgia's most important wine region — a place where climate, soil and generations of winemaking experience create a unique environment.
This is where the character of Akhmeteli takes shape — through native grape varieties and wines that express their origin clearly.

For us, tradition is not simply a repetition of the past.

Georgian Grape Varieties
Our collection showcases the diversity of Georgian grape varieties.
Saperavi, Tsinandali, Kisi and Kakhuri Mtsvane create entirely different characters — from intense reds to aromatic, structured whites and ambers.
Different varieties. Different character. One origin — Georgia.
Qvevri
Ageing wine in qvevri is one of the most important parts of Georgian winemaking.
Akhmeteli combines the traditional method with a modern approach, so that the wine retains the natural character, depth and balance of the grape variety.
Chacha
Akhmeteli also presents Georgian winemaking culture through another important product — chacha.
Strong character, Georgian origin and tradition in a different form.

In the Akhmeta district of Kakheti, eastern Georgia — in the heart of the Alazani Valley, where our grapes are grown and the wine matures in traditional qvevri.
Qvevri are large clay vessels buried in the earth, used in Georgia for over 8,000 years. Wine ferments and ages in them naturally, giving our amber wines their depth and character — a UNESCO-listed heritage.
